In this video Jonathan, of Service Autopilot, discusses selling extra services with Tom Kelly of BeeSafe.
Tom’s advice:
– At the beginning of the year, when you are building your budget, include supplemental services in your plan.
– Pair complimentary services, such as preventative grub treatments or aeration, with your fertilization and weed control program to strengthen your service offering.
– Remain focused on your core services. You do not want to allow your add-on services to distract you from your core business. However, managed correctly, supplemental services will add profit to your bottom line.

I like your tip about adding the extra services into your plan from the beginning. Having them become a big distraction too is one I never thought about.
