This is a interview I did back in 2009 about my lawn care business. It’s about 30 minutes long. It has a number of good business ideas and tips that I believe you will find valuable.
I started my first lawn mowing business at 15. I left the business after my freshman year of college. Almost by accident, I returned to the industry around 2004. I'm glad I did. Of all the service businesses, if I was starting over today, I would start a business in the lawn care & landscape industry. There are challenges ahead and I have concerns regarding aspects of the industry… but the green industry is a great industry full of potential.
