I started my first lawn mowing business at 15. I left the business after my freshman year of college. Almost by accident, I returned to the industry around 2004. I'm glad I did. Of all the service businesses, if I was starting over today, I would start a business in the lawn care & landscape industry. There are challenges ahead and I have concerns regarding aspects of the industry… but the green industry is a great industry full of potential.
